Issues and bugs

  • Getting an error when posting a comment: "Validation error". May be due to the username bug. Cloud to check.
    • Fixed.
  • I can't join any groups. Wait I figured it out. One thing though. Maybe you could put a button to subscribe to the group underneath the rss feed button.
    • Fixed.

Feature requests

  • I would be cool if social.ie was integrated with blogger.com and the like at some level, so my social.ie blog would link or display my blogger.com blog. If you get my meaning, kind of like mybloglog.com.
    • Okay, looking into it... What I need is an "RSS on my profile" module.
  • Posting to a group is rather cumbersome and confusing. Is it possible to have a newsgroup style interface, or something along the lines of facebook's wall or a shoutbox? Even a <post new topic> button on the group's page that would post a blog entry for that group would be helpful
  • Something similar to a report post button so that we can report things like spam personal abuse and the like. It's not much of a problem now but it could be a problem in the future as social gets a lot bigger and more popular.
