A440 is the 440 Hz tone that serves as the internationally recognized standard for musical pitch. A440 is the musical note A above middle C. Since 1939, it has served as the audio frequency reference for the calibration of pianos, violins, and other musical instruments.
440hz is also the name of the nazi Mac moderator of the Mac forum. She rules with a small, soft and decididly non terrifying teddy bear hand, and hasn't so far banned anyone. She was even contemplating letting Rozie back in! oh and some Kerry forum as well. :boggle:
Fiercly brand loyal, She would sleep with Steve Jobs if given the chance, and uses nothing but Apple stuff. Owns a MacBook Pro and an iPod thingy! Never hears a word against her beloved white clad machines! Despite this, her MacBook is silver! How contrary!
Being a big photo nut, She owns a Canon 350D, and thinks Nikons are the tool of the devil.
She and her family drive nothing but 'The peoples wagons' AKA VW's. Presumably they all have silly names like that given to her hitler mobile 'Burt'. She recently traded in her beloved black Beetle, for a much faster silver Golf. Kaimera cant wait to crash it into a pole.
She has a favourite Concentration Camp (Dachau?? I'm not sure!) and her favourite phrase is 'Sieg heil!! Sieg Heil!! Hitler is in ze house!' [edit by 440Hz, this is actually untrue. I said I had a favourite Nazi, as in most interesting, being Heydrich. I do not have a favourite Concentration Camp]

Can be seen with her bright red hair around college. Mostly slacking off having coffee in the red raisin and/or Stables. If you ever see her in her office, she will never be doing anything remotly related to DSP, and will instead be 'messing around on Flickr'
