Background(The Person)
I'm a engineering student in trinity college Dublin. Grew up in north inner city Dublin, where I still live... and that's about all you get at this stage.
Trinity
Trinity is a nice college, it's far from being as stuck up as most people would think. Mostly it's about what attitude you go into it with. If you go in there with a inferiority complex, you will feel like their all snobby pricks. I often find it surprising the internal prejudistics in trinity. Art's students are stoners,hippies and wasters, while engineers and science people are conservative squares that vote FF. The Bess students are all Daddy's boys and girls. Really its all complete crap.
Background(The User)
I Came to boards many a year ago. Boston is just one of many user names I've had along the way. Back in the day I used to brawl with almost everyone, and won myself many a ban in the past. Pervious user names include Carnivore,Joe22,joe21,Gladiator,skanger,bubbles,Boston...ect.
when I look back at threads like this "My Introduction" it pains me to think of what a prat I was, and possible still am.
Accounts
These are some of my most notable accounts;
Joe22
Joe22 was my first real account on boards.ie. My first post was here and quiet annoying it was two. Back then I thought I knew someone about "Computers" and that arrogance is reflected in many posts under that account. I was a typical Muppet kid back then, And it wasn't long before I was banned for my trouble. To this day I don't really know what exactly I had against that Gerry fellow.
Gladiator
This was the first account where I made a real effort of not be a spammy insulting Muppet, but a last I was still only 16, and very hot headed in my approach. My first post with this account was here and things seemed to be going better for awhile, then It wasn't long before I was back to bad habits. here and here finally after many complaints to the admins about me, I toned it down. Despite all the bitching and moaning on the ioffl, all the insulting and the trolling, it was a crack about 911, that finally got Gladiator banned.
E-Hub
Very short lived account which came about as a result of a fight with Bard, after my Gladiator account was banned. For whatever reason(seems all very trivial now) I was pissed off royally with Bard(A nice enough guy as it happens) and was posting allot of shite directed at bard, so tom stepped in with his words of wisdom and put an end to it all. On that day Boston was born.
Boston
It seemed DeVore really couldn't spot moi. He made me a moderator and I changed quiet abite. It was rocky before that, but with this new responsibility came a new attitude. Every thing was grand for while until people found out who I was before, with things getting worse when people started have a go at me because of my past. Many threads where started calling for me to be banned. DeVore tried his best to resolve the issue at the time, calling many people in for a chat and even allowing moderators to ignore each other. A lass in the end I was forced to give up my moderatorship and lie low for a while.Being forced the step down really sucked the joy of boards out of me, and left a fairly bad taste in my mouth. I left boards for an extended period and when I returned I brought a fair amount of apathy with me. I no longer posted in ioffl or the tech forums, I kinda just browse boards never getting involved to deeply in anything.
What I've Learned
What I’ve learnt from being on boards.ie
• MAJD is a chick/woman/not a guy. I personally was amazed.
• When people meet met me for the first time they where amazed.
• You can basically say what ever you want and not get banned for it
• People threat you differently if they can put a name to a face.
• People will piss you off just to get a reaction.
• Theres allot of very intelligent people on boards, some of hum I owe allot.
• There is always a link between boards, and sometimes its quiet disturbing. For instance I've real life links to all the galway crew on boards through my friends flat mate, a fair few of the LGB people through friends and societies, as well as random other people like crash.
• Dispite numerious threats on my well being, most people here are decent.
• Amp has hundreds of tiny pores on his noise, its not something most people notice, you have to get right up there in his face to see them.
• People don’t like it when you bombard them with sarcastic remarks like a pimped up 12 years old school girl from Detroit.
• Gordon is someone who, imho, alters the would around him to suit his needs rather then letting the world change him, he bends reality and accepted norms.
• Gerry I basically avoid because he knows more about computers then I and I don’t like to admit it.
• You can get by on boards with absolutely no typing skills what so ever, and most people won’t notice. (Except [[User:Bard|Bard])
• Just because you think you know someone on the net, that doesn’t mean that’s them in real life, often you only see one side of somebody.
• I am but a dream, soon forgotten.
• Devore, regi cloud and ecksor are just people, they mess up like anybody else, the difference is how they handle their mistakes.
• Finally, that i provided far more amusement and entertainment when I was fighting the powers that be, then when I was trying to keep my head down.
The Future
When I joined boards there where maybe 2000 members at a push, now theres over 22000. In many ways was was once a small close community is gone, and with it also of what boards used to represent. In my time here I've meet some great people and I'm truely thankfull for that, those people know who they are. I've had enought of this, I need a break.
The End of an Era
It all started to go wrong when boston took the piss out of the football on the feedback forum and suggested that certain fans might look into the light.. He later went on to attempt a Nigerian 419 scam on the administrators, the aim of which was to receive a shiny new hat 
while pretending to be the illegitimate pirate son of old man Connelly. This resulted in his final, permanent site ban from boards.ie. The scam email is replicated below.
The scam

Surprise maybe on you for this letter come to you as a but I prayed to God help me choose somebody that will be my true partner. I have the courage to Crave indulgence for this important business believing that you will never let me down either now or in the future. I have urgent and very confidential business proposition for you.I am citizen of boards, illegitimate web son of the late former previous pasttense president of boards (president jerry connelly. Since my late father death has some years hence ago and being abandoned by aunt jenny connelly residing in THE MUSTARD FORUM on temporary politcal asylum. On my arrival in THE MUSTARD FORUM after my later father's world of warcraft burial, I came into THE MUSTARD FORUM with a boards packaged consignment parcel container holding the sum of $1100110011 dollars. Which he managed to keep out of the hands of the rebel leaders. I got from part of the money my late web father made through adsense sales when he was the president of boards of about 32 years precisely, since my arrival with the boards packaged consignment parcel container it has been kept secret by the knights of comeonbanus and the illuminate pending my arrival as leader.
The receipt of your acceptance to my proposal, I can immediately arrange for the money to leave boards in your favours for onwards movement where by you can receive the packaged consignment parcel container. Please if you're willing to help me do send in your reply immediately based on the folling.
1) What percentage of the amount of money do you intend to charge for your assistance. Please feel free to speak your mind.
